City Issues Temporary Changes to Charge Structure

COVID Page

The City has temporarily amended its charge structure as a part of a comprehensive economic response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The temporary change in charges will provide temporary relief to local businesses and residents that are negatively impacted by the pandemic. These changes are made in accordance with the City’s Emergency Declaration.

Early in the City’s response to the public health and economic crisis created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the City identified that businesses and residents may find paying utility bills challenging. In an effort to provide relief to the community we serve, the City issued the temporary changes to the charges. Businesses and residents may also choose to defer your Utilities bill for up to two months.

Additionally, residents may receive a $15 credit on their next City of Grand Junction utility bill just for signing up with Paymentus (automatic credit card payments) or the Automatic Draft Program. Processing fees will apply.

A full schedule of the temporary charge changes may be viewed on our website.

As always, we will continue to update the community on any changes to services. Please visit our COVID-19 response page or our Facebook and Twitter accounts for updates.
