The City of Grand Junction will be celebrating the official ribbon cutting for the renovations to the Two Rivers Convention Center with a ceremony on Tuesday, November 19 at 4:00 p.m.
The $7.3 million project targeted three major areas including: the addition of a service corridor to the west and north of the ballroom as well as a freight elevator from the downstairs storage area up to the main floor; addressing mechanical and electrical maintenance; and, upgrading aesthetic and functional components. The improvements will help the facility attract more events and will improve the service provided by convention center staff.
