RockyMounts to Break Ground in Riverfront At Las Colonias Park

This Friday, bike rack manufacturer RockyMounts will be the first company to break ground in the new business park at the Riverfront at Las Colonias Park development. RockyMounts announced it was relocating its headquarters to Grand Junction at the Western Colorado Economic Summit in June 2018. The effort to bring the Boulder-based business to the western slope has been a truly collaborative partnership between the City of Grand Junction, the Grand Junction Economic Partnership (GJEP) and several local economic development partners.

Mayor Rick Taggart and GJEP Chairman Doug Simons will welcome RockyMounts owner Bobby Noyes and his staff to the Grand Valley on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at the RockyMounts site at Riverfront at Las Colonias Park 1675 Las Colonias Drive, Grand Junction, CO (See map)

RockyMounts is the first business to break ground at the new 15-acre business park within Riverfront at Las Colonias Park. Locally operated Bonsai Design is expected to break ground early 2020, with additional businesses following suit. Once complete, the $30-million, 140-acre mixed-use development will include the business park, a 5,000-seat amphitheater, a river park with two standing waves along the Colorado River, a boat ramp, multiple ponds and a planned zipline across the Colorado River.
