Tonight’s Community Values & Vision Workshop has been CANCELLED due to weather.
The Community Values and Vision Workshop was originally scheduled for Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at the Grand Junction (Two Rivers) Convention Center in downtown Grand Junction. Due to weather impacting the travel of the City’s consultants, the meeting will be rescheduled for a later date.
The Sub-Area Plans Workshop, scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at Lincoln Park Barn located at Lincoln Park, 1240 Gunnison Avenue will continue as scheduled. The Sub-Areas Workshop is open to the entire community and will focus on the identified subareas. The workshop will explore improvement and development scenarios that will serve as the basis for detailed development planning, concept visualization, redevelopment initiatives, implementation strategies and more. The intent is to create consensus around a preferred approach to improving, transforming, revitalizing, and investing in these two key areas of the City. This workshop will include a visual preference survey using smartphone technologies, in addition to a group mapping exercise.
