Planning our community for both motorized and non-motorized travel is important to every citizen and visitor of Grand Junction. The City and County are seeking the public’s input on the best and safest ways to get around the community using automobile and active transportation modes such as biking and walking to access popular destinations. Providing transportation corridors to area attractions and daily destinations is important as we plan for the future of Grand Junction.
The City of Grand Junction and Mesa County are seeking public input on the draft plan and maps being recommended as part of the Grand Junction Circulation Plan. The Plan is proposed to update and replace the 2010 adopted Grand Valley Circulation Plan and the 2001 adopted Urban Trails Plan, developing a comprehensive approach to the community’s transportation needs. The proposed plan and transportation maps will be available to review and comment on. Staff will be available to answer questions and welcome public comments and input.
