The Grand Junction Parks and Recreation Department and PLACE (People for Location Activities and Community Enrichment) are working in collaboration on a feasibility study for a potential community and recreation center. The first of several community meetings is being held on Thursday, January 18 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Faith Heights Church, 600 28 ¼ Road.
This open house will provide an opportunity for the community to ask questions, share feedback, receive information about the process, and get involved in this important first step. The meeting format will include a brief introduction followed by an opportunity for community members to visit with the consultants, City representatives, and PLACE team members based on interest area(s).
For additional information about the meeting, contact Traci Wieland at 970-254-3846 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
