In an effort to better accommodate the public by beginning earlier and completing earlier, City Council unanimously approved a resolution last night that will change the start time of regular City Council meetings. Beginning in April, City Council meetings will begin at 6:00 p.m. as opposed to 7:00 p.m., which has been the start time since 2005. Regular City Council meetings are held the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
It is hoped the earlier start time will make it more convenient for more community members to attend and participate in the meetings.
