Projects Affecting Traffic for the Week of February 6

Sewer Repair and Replacement Project – River Road between 24 Road and Persigo Wastewater Plant
Night time work:
– River Road at the Redlands Parkway exit will be closed from 6:30 pm Monday until 6:30 am Tuesday
– Detour route will be in place.
Day time work:
– Motorists be aware of speed limit reductions through construction zone
– Delays can be expected, alternate route advised
– Project anticipated to last until June 2017.

Non-City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions

Red Canyon Sidewalk and Pedestrian Bridge (Hwy 340 east of Vista Grande Road) – Mesa County Project
– Motorists be aware of speed limit reductions through construction zone
–  Possible traffic delays can be expected
– Project anticipated to last until June 2017.

29 ½ Road Bridge Replacement over Grand Valley Irrigation Canal – CDOT/Mesa County Project
– 29 ½ Road is closed to through traffic between Orchard Avenue and Patterson Road
– Access provided for local residents
– Detour route is in place

23 Road from Hwy 6 & 50 to G Road Utility Project – Private Development
– Starting Monday, February 6, G Road will be closed to through traffic 24/7
– Detour route will be in place
– Access will be provided for local businesses
– Anticipated completion will be Friday, February 10, with the exception of paving.

383 W Ridges Blvd – Utility Construction – Private Development
– W Ridges Blvd from E Lakeridge Dr. to Redlands Mesa Club House will be closed to through traffic on Tuesday, February 7.
– Detour route will be in place
– Access will be maintained for local residents and golf patrons.

Street Light Upgrade, Riverside Parkway from 24 Road to D Road – Xcel Energy Project
Tuesday:
– Riverside Parkway between 9th Street and D Road will be closed from 9 am to 3 pm
– Detour route will be in place
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday:
– Be aware of various lane closures along Riverside Parkway.
